2015 Southeastern Fishes Council Meeting

Gainesville, Florida

The annual meeting of the Southeastern Fishes Council will be held Thursday and Friday, November 12–13, 2015, at the Paramount Plaza Hotel in Gainesville, Florida. The theme of this year’s meeting is nonindigenous fishes. There will be a plenary session honoring Dr. Herbert T. Boschung, one of our cofounders, who passed away February 5, 2015. We have 8 oral presentation sessions ending Friday at 5:00 PM plus a poster session on Thursday evening.

Accommodations: Paramount Plaza Hotel. The Southeastern Fishes Council has negotiated a price of $82 (plus tax = about $92) per night for 100 rooms with two double beds and occupancy of up to 4. The hotel is located on US Highway 441 on the south side of Gainesville, about 1.5 miles south of the University of Florida Campus.
